Taphophile Tragics # 46

I adore ceramic grave adornments such as this one that I found in Point Clare cemetery, outside Gosford on the New South Wales Central Coast. They seem to strike just the right note.

Welcome to the 46th week of Taphophile Tragics.

Unfortunately, I have to bring this meme to a close after this week. There is simply too much for me to do at the moment, and I am not doing your entries justice. I do not have enough time to tour cemeteries, and the hard drive with all my cemetery history is irrecoverable!

However, your final contribution is most welcome. Please ensure that you include some details of the cemetery in which you took your photographs, and link directly to your post, rather than simply to your blog in general. This week, Mr Linky opens at 9:30 PM Monday, Sydney time (GMT+11), and closes at 9:30 PM on the Friday.

Oh gosh Julie, I'm so sorry for all your troubles at the moment. I hope things will get better soon.
Thanks for all the work you have put into this meme, for bringing us together as a group, for encouraging frequent and deeper looks into the cemeteries in our lives.
Shalom and blessings to you.
We'll see you at your regular blog.

Sorry to hear this will be the last one, but I completely understand how personal things can mean changes in things like blogging. :) I do appreciate that I found your blog, and was able to participate. Perhaps some of us can share the hosting in the future? I would gladly volunteer for this, if anyone else is interested .....

Thanks again for all of your hard work hosting this meme.

Yes, I too will be sorry to see this meme go. I've felt less alone in my interests (!), and glad to know others shared them. But I've also learnt a great deal too.
Good luck Julie... hope you get some time back - and thanks.

I, too, am sorry the meme is ending but I expect I'll still be posting taphophile photos on Hove Daily Photo. Thank you for all your hard work, Julie :o)

Ceramic ornaments are a favourite of mine too, you have found a beautiful example.
Sorry to hear about your lost files and photos, how very frustrating and disappointing for you.
Thank you for hosting this meme Julie, and all the time you gave to commenting on and encouraging the contributions.
I too will continue to post taphophile related images, and look forward to following your thoughtful contributions and images on CDP.

Most of the ceramics seen in the cemeteries of Paris have been broken, but this is a perfect design.

I am sorry about your lost photos - My blog went down for two days last week and I thought that at least I still had the original photos.

Thanks for all that you do for the blogging community. I totally understand the time limitations. Merci beaucoup, mon amie.

Bises,
Genie

Julie,
Heaven knows you've had your hands full with keeping this rowdy bunch of CDP bloggers on the up and up! I shall miss posting here but certainly understand. WE can always visit you on SE!

It's a shame you have stopped now. I've just been out to Woronora and will be featuring shots from there this week.
